Their $65 million, office and retail development PARC, has broken ground, while their $18 million residential project SALT in South Cronulla, has topped out.
SALT, designed by Innovate Architects, comprises four full-floor luxury apartments each with 143 sqm of internal living space and a further 36 sqm across two large balconies.
Sammut Group Chief Operating Officer Julian Sammut says the residential project is significant for Sammut Group as it links back to the company’s origins.
“We are delighted to mark this significant milestone towards the completion of SALT,” Sammut says.
“This project relates back to Sammut Group’s original product, opulent oversized apartments, providing residents with an exclusive lifestyle in a boutique, state-of-the-art development.”
Located at 44 Gerrale Street Cronulla, the luxury development adds to the already strong presence Sammut Group has in Cronulla with its future developments, VUE and PARC, only a short distance away.
“We are excited to deliver another landmark development to Cronulla,” Sammut added.
“We take a lot of pride in our developments but in particular the ones in our backyard.”
Highland Properties agent David Highland says SALT is a signature product for Sammut Group.
“SALT is a very special project that is synonymous with the Sammut Group brand and quality,” Highland says.
Two apartments in SALT still remain, with prices starting from $4.75 million.
SALT is expected to complete construction towards the end of this year.
RAW Constructions, a family-operated construction company, is handling the build of SALT, which is expected to complete construction toward the end of the year.
The same building firm are construction Sammut’s mixed-use commercial and hospitality development, PARC, where they’ve just broken ground.
Also designed by Innovate Architects, the $65 million development comprises seven storeys with a two-level multi-venue hospitality space soon to be operated by Feros Group, and five levels of commercial space. A further floor will be dedicated to a co-working space operated by Sammut Group.
Located at 138-142 Cronulla Street, PARC will take full advantage of its park-side location, with various suites at all levels taking in green views over the open space.
Sammut says PARC is delivering a much-needed level of commercial office space to the area and further demonstrates Sammut Group’s long-term commitment to Cronulla.
“Cronulla is our home and we feel a strong sense of responsibility to elevate the area, by providing a portfolio of premium offerings where people can live, work, and play,” Sammut says.
Sammut Group is currently delivering a $835 million pipeline across Cronulla and the Gold Coast. Current projects include VUE, PARC and COAST and the soon-to-be-released PALM.
