Crazy Sutherland Shire mansion with bowling alley and 23 bathrooms breaks records

One of the most important houses built in Sydney and Australia will be on the market next week.

The magnificent trophy house in Burraneer, Sutherlandshire is simply epic, with 3,965 square meters of interior space on six floors-three of which are underground.

The property is called “Australia’s best house” and is owned by entrepreneur Steve Shelley, who bought four adjacent houses and spent $30 million in four years to build this masterpiece.

And Mr. Shelley, the founder of the most famous software startup company Vice, did not waste an inch in the 3965 square meters of space. There are 7 bedrooms, 6 kitchens, 19 bathrooms, a theater, a wine tasting room, and a bowling alley. And a “bat cave”.

Named after the shells — Nautilus also has two bars, three commercial elevators, an archery range, a 20-car garage, a Turkish steam bath, a day spa, swimming pool, private beach and pier.

Therefore, the price of the property overlooking Burraneer Bay is expected to exceed $50 million, which will not surprise anyone.

Will be higher than $24.5 million northern beach record After Jennifer Hawkins sold her Newport residence to Atlassian co-founder Mike Cannon-Brookes, $25 million Mosman benchmark Hosted by Andrew Pridham, chairman of the Sydney Swans.

Mr. Highland said that Nautilus is undoubtedly one of the best houses ever offered to the market. He said: “In Sydney, or even Australia, there is no such opportunity-this is an opportunity that will never be repeated.”

“The level of completion I have seen throughout is something I have never seen before.”

Mr. Shelley invited Sammut Developments to build a property he wanted to be “Australia’s best house”.

During the four-year construction period, a total of 750 businessmen worked on Nautilus, using 2,300 cubic meters of concrete and 300 tons of steel bars. There is also an 8m deep and 15m long tunnel called “Bat Cave”, which allows you to enter the beach without using stairs.

Mr. Highland said that the most impressive feature is that despite its size, it still feels subtle and low-key.

“The design takes the surrounding environment into consideration so as not to appear out of place,” he said.

“It has a very large scale, and despite its large area, it is still easy to live in.”

Sammut

Sammut also carried out landscaping work, including restoration of the heritage-listed boat shed and demolishing the harbour swimming pool to build the beach.

The property has two guest pavilions, a bowling alley with two lanes and a 2000 bottle wine cellar that looks like Dan Murphy.

Other facilities include a safe room, ensuite bathroom with steam shower, yoga and pilates studio, teppanyaki barbecue and gym. Mr. Malouf said that if the property is located in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, it could easily become the most expensive property in Australia.

“If this house were on the waterfront in the eastern suburbs, it would be a house worth 120 million U.S. dollars,” he said.

The finished product led the Housing Industry Association to award Nautilus the annual Australian Housing Award and the 2016 People’s Choice Award.

Mr. Highland expects that buyers from the Shire, as well as buyers from Sydney and foreigners returning home will be very interested in this.
